Sam Speedie

Sam Speedie serves as Managing Director of MB² Solutions. Speedie's prior work experience includes digital media strategy development for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and Artists Management Group; formative work in policy development and strategic planning for state-level public security offices in New York and New Jersey; a security planning and coordination role in the redevelopment and rebuilding of the World Trade Center site as a representative of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation; and coordination of global security risk management initiatives within the Corporate Services division of Goldman, Sachs & Co.

Speedie has diverse experience in local / regional food system development, including as project manager of "Virginia Produced," a Charlottesville-Albemarle business planning initiative premised on flash freezing and light processing of Virginia-grown produce.  He co-founded and serves as General Manager of Brand-O Foods, a Charlottesville-based manufacturer of healthy, portable snacks featuring organic and Virginia-grown ingredients.
  
He graduated with an A.B. in English & American Literature and Language, from Harvard University.
